Edd Lopez
Western Sales Manager & National Sales Director
Edd Lopez, our "adopted" Seghesio, began working for the family in 1994 as our Midwestern Representative. His relationship with the family, however, dates back to his college days when he and Peter Seghesio both attended Fresno State University. Even then, their friendship was mutually beneficial . . . Peter introduced Edd to fine wine and food . . . Edd, as anyone who has met him will understand, introduced Peter to fine clothes.
In 1994, when the winery was searching for a salesperson, Edd, with his retail and brokered wine experience, his proven sales ability, banking experience and armed with a Finance degree, was a natural choice. The unnatural part of the equation was that Edd was to move from Fresno, California (average annual temperature 80's) to Chicago in one of the coldest Januarys on record. Edd's tenacity, enthusiasm, sense of humor and love of adventure got him through and made him hugely successful. His territory quickly grew to include two-thirds of the country. Edd returned to California in 2004 to run the Western region and be our National Sales Director.
When asked why he decided to join a small family business Edd responds, "It was my love of wine and the autonomy to go out there and make it happen! I relished the thought of being an instrumental part of a small company."
Edd continues to "make it happen!" as he travels the country introducing people to Seghesio wines.
Edd, his wife Jenny, and their children Liam and Lilia now live in Healdsburg.

John Doxon
John Doxon began officially working for Seghesio Family Vineyards in July of 2003 as the Eastern Regional Manager. His un-official career began while he was attending the University of Nebraska and working at the area’s only Wine Spectator Award Winning restaurant. It was at the restaurant that John participated in a blind tasting featuring Seghesio Sangiovese and in his words, “fell in love with Seghesio wines.” Fortunately for Seghesio, John’s successful restaurant career elevated him from waiter to bartender then Sommelier and, finally, General Manager of several restaurants.
In 1997, John moved to the distribution side of the wine business as wine educator with United Distillers in his hometown of Omaha. John was the Fine Wine Manager when Seghesio was searching for an Eastern representative. John’s passion for the brand, his broad industry experience and strong work ethic made him a great candidate to pursue. After his interview over dinner in Ed Seghesio’s kitchen (where he brilliantly helped with dishes), family and staff agreed that it felt as though John was already part of the family.
John finds it rewarding to work representing not just “great wines but a wine family.”And adds, “It is reassuring to know that a member of the Seghesio family is involved in every bottle we produce at every level of the winemaking process.”
John and his, Kristina, and their incredibly adorable son live in Brooklyn.
Camille Seghesio
Camille Seghesio, granddaughter of Edoardo and Angela Seghesio, began managing the winery’s export markets in February 2002.
Upon departing for college at Georgetown University, it was clear that Camille would not soon return to the Home Ranch where she was raised . . . She studied political science and languages. She achieved her Masters in Economics from Stanford and went on to work for Salomon Brothers in New York. Eager to continue her education, she received her MBA from the University of Chicago. Upon graduation, Camille worked for Goldman Sachs in their London equities division.
In 1999, Camille began serving on the winery’s Board of Directors and reacquainted herself with the family business. By 2002, export markets were expanding and changes in the European distribution network created a need for a manager. Camille’s international experience made her a great choice and, conversely, she states, “my dream has always been to work for the family handling the export markets.”
Camille shares her family’s passion for the wine industry and her dedicated work has brought Seghesio wines to nearly 40 countries.
Today, Camille directs exports and enjoys traveling on behalf of the family to numerous wine events. And, as of Summer 2007, we are delighted to have her once again call Sonoma County home.
Camille Seghesio manages all markets outside of the United States while the US market is divided as detailed below.
