Spectator names Home Ranch Zinfandel to Top 100
Our 2009 Home Ranch Zinfandel has been named to Wine Spectator's 2011 Top 100, becoming the seventh Seghesio wine to make the prestigious list in the past decade.
Home Ranch ranked No. 12, with a 95-point rating. Wine Spectator's review of the wine declared it "a Zinfandel that has it all." The core of the wine is from Edoardo Seghesio's first planting of Zinfandel, dating to 1895.
This was the first appearance for Home Ranch in the Wine Spectator Top 100. Our Sonoma Zinfandel has been listed four times, most recently with the 2007 vintage ranking No. 10, and our Old Vine Zinfandel has been in the Top 100 twice.

New chef joins Seghesio team
We’re pleased to introduce our new executive chef, Peter Janiak.
A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, Chef Peter began his culinary career at Wildwood in Portland, Oregon, where he developed a love for local and seasonal cookery. More recently, he’s worked at San Francisco’s Boulevard restaurant and Presidio Social Club. Most impressive, Chef Peter, though not Italian, simply wowed us with his pasta!
