2015 Sonoma Zinfandel

Each vintage, we harvest multiple diverse lots of Zinfandel that span the entire Sonoma County Zinfandel landscape. Each of these lots is produced under the careful eye of our winemaker, Ted Seghesio. The best of these lots are selected to make Sonoma Zinfandel. A small amount of Petite Sirah is added to honor century old traditions and to provide color and structure. The result is a wine that offers tantalizing raspberry, blueberry, classic briary and spicy flavors with a balance of components for which Seghesio wines are known.

Tasting Notes
This wine presents a bold nose that teems with aromas of blueberry, nutmeg and baked strawberry, intertwined with hints of brambly spice and lush black fruit typical of Alexander Valley. The palate leads smoothly with flavors of briery, black cherry, cocoa and coffee, while the finish is balanced and elegantly structured.


The best Zinfandel grapes are grown in Sonoma County. For five generations, the Seghesio family has been carefully selecting sites which has allowed the family to secure fruit from the best Zinfandel producers. Working together with these growers, the Seghesio viticultural team's goal is to improve fruit quality vintage to vintage.
