Bramble and spice on the nose accented by the aroma of fresh fennel with notes of strawberry preserves and fresh cracked black pepper. On the palate the wine is bright and mouthwatering with fresh acidity and notes of raspberry and black currant. Supple tannins lead to a long finish that lingers.
Food Pairing Notes
A perfect wine for grilling, it will pair with grilled steak and carrots in a chimichurri sauce or your favorite burger, covered in a sharp, aged, cheddar cheese.
We sourced the grapes for our Paso Robles Zin from a handful of exceptional vineyards managed by veteran growers of the region. The vineyards we chose were mostly located in the cooler western edge of Paso Robles and planted on sites with limestone soils located, predominantly, in the Templeton Gap and Willow Creek sub-AVAs.
