This classic spinach and artichoke dip is the ultimate crowd-pleaser for any gathering. Rich, creamy, and loaded with tender spinach, artichoke hearts, and a blend of three cheeses, this baked dip delivers irresistible flavor in every scoop. The combination of cream cheese, Parmesan, and mozzarella creates a luxuriously smooth texture, while garlic and a hint of red pepper flakes add depth and warmth. Ready in just 40 minutes, this appetizer pairs beautifully with a chilled glass of Seghesio Chardonnay, making it perfect for entertaining or enjoying a cozy night in. Serve it with tortilla chips, crusty bread, or fresh vegetables for a dish that disappears fast.

Ingredients

– 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
– 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
– 1 cup cream cheese, softened
– ½ cup mayonnaise
– ½ cup sour cream
– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp onion powder
– ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
– Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth and well blended.
3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Fold in the spinach and artichoke hearts until evenly mixed.
5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
8. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crusty bread, or fresh vegetables. Pair with a chilled glass of Seghesio Chardonnay.

Tips

– For extra flavor, sprinkle a little more Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
– If you prefer a lighter dip, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
– Make it ahead: Prepare the dip and store it covered in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
