Fires of historic proportions in Sonoma and Napa Counties have caused devastation in the region. The response from our community has been impressive and the outpouring of assistance from sources across the country has been incredible.
We are relieved to share that all of our staff and families are safe. However some have lost their homes and our thoughts and prayers go out to them and everyone impacted.
Seghesio Family Vineyards winemaking was fully operational throughout the fires and the winery and vineyards were not affected. The tasting room was open for hospitality most of the week and is operating under normal business hours as of Monday, October 16th. For information on a visit or previously scheduled event please contact Stephanie Smith at StephanieS@seghesio.com.
We are grateful to the selfless first responders who have worked tirelessly to keep us safe, and for the outpouring of support expressed by many of you during this tragic event. To help rebuild our community, please visit The Community Foundation of Sonoma County.
Seghesio Family Vineyards is woven into the history and fabric of the Sonoma County wine industry. From the turn of the last century, through Prohibition and the Great Depression, throughout the challenges of survival in the 20th and 21st centuries, it is the story of one family’s adaptation and reinvention, not once, but multiple times. Most of all it is the story of the values we hold dear: heritage, tradition and community.
